The Magnaflux Y-7 AC/DC Electromagnetic Yoke is a high-strength handheld magnetic particle inspection instrument designed for detecting surface and sub-surface discontinuities in ferromagnetic materials. It provides switchable AC and DC magnetic fields, allowing AC operation for surface indications and DC operation for surface and near-surface indications. Its rugged, sealed construction and articulating legs make it suitable for field testing, weld inspection, in-service inspections, and demanding industrial environments.
